This demonstration comes off the back of multimillion pound deal with the US Army that enabled the world first large-scale deployment of LiFi in the form of the Kitefin System.
Kitefin if the first mission deployable LiFi system for defence. Kitefin has near-zero EM signature, is fully cyber secure, virtually interference-free, and is radio frequency free meaning there is a very low probability of detection or interception. Kitefin is also rapidly deployable saving missions time and money.
LiFi being uniquely more secure than radio technology such as Wi-Fi or cellular, the US ARMY Europe are able to deploy wireless communications where previously not possible and further secure existing wireless solutions.
